Sunday Morning Study Groups  9:00am

Christian education and the importance of having an educated church have long been important values in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  We have a variety of group options.

Believer’s Class –  a women’s study, led by Ruby Jett, RM #104 (Library)

Equipping the Saints – study on the book of Acts, led by Mary Foreman, RM #108

Fearless Conversations Class – led by a rotation of teachers, RM112

New Life Crusaders –  Bible study, led by Rev. Don Bolding, RM111

Disciples Men

Our men meet the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.  We meet at various local restaurants for a meal, fellowship and prayer.

Disciples Women

We have a group of our women, called “Esther Ruth”, who meet the first Wednesday morning of each month at 10 a.m.  After their meeting, they often go out for lunch.

A different group of women, called “Mary Martha”, meet on the first Thursday evening of each month at 6 p.m.  This group meets occasionally at the church and also in different homes.

The Service/Action ministry of our Disciples Women meets on the second Saturday of each month to make mats for the homeless at 9:30 a.m.

Closer Touch

Closer Touch is typically made up of those who are retired or who just enjoy fellowship!  The group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at our church at 11:00am to load into our church bus.   The group travels to fellowship at restaurants in or near Temple.
